Hareticus released a  few days ago and we're really glad that we actually went ahead to make it.

To be perfectly frank, the development of our short game Haereticus wasn’t actually planned until recently. We were looking through some previous O2A2 jam games and really enjoyed the brief yet fulfilling stories, and eventually, it came up in conversation -

‘What if we made one for Dual Chroma?’ 

So we did. 

One of Dual Chroma’s more mysterious elements is the infamous ‘Ashen Lord’ and his horde of monsters and followers aptly named ‘the Ashen.’ The goal with Haereticus was to give a brief yet horrific insight into why this figure is so feared by the Galens Empire and offer a look into the minds of one of his followers. And this is only just a taste of what’s hidden in the world of Aradal.

Since we hit 500 prelaunch followers for our KS we also just released a second look into the world of Dual Chroma: an update to the demo proper featuring a prologue scene with another mysterious figure - Minerva.

It may answer some questions this game brought up so feel free to give it a play.
